Thompson Civil, founded in 2002, led by Lorenzo Thompson, PE, has been performing site design, roadway design, drainage design, and construction management for over 20 years. The staff of Thompson Civil has several years of combined experience in developing new concepts for civil ro4dway design and drainage design. We became participants in the minority/disadvantage. programs about 5-years ago and are very excited about the positive acceptance, into the civil engineering community, from State/local public entities and Consulting Firms.
Thompson Civil is dedicated to continuing its history of providing the utmost in professional and satisfactory service e to our clients. We have a staff of Professional Engineers registered in Illinois and Missouri to accomplish our goals and address our client’s needs. Our technicians are equipped with the latest computer design software (AutoCAD civil 3D and Open Roads Designers) programs to work fast and efficiently.
Our management staff place our engineers and technicians in positions of growth. We encourage completing professional development training courses to enhance their credentials, thus increasing the Company’s presence in the civil engineering community.
Thompson Civil thinks of civil engineering challenges as pulling its tentacles together, as necessary, to develop a system to carry pedestrian and vehicular traffic from Point A to Point B. We are only satisfied if Points A to Point B is traversed in a in a Safe and Economical manner. We are design engineers enjoying the benefits of inspecting our designs and watching as they are being constructed. From families that live in an Urban or Rural setting, I our diverse group places all stakeholders at the front of the table to share their experiences with regards to safety and environmental issues.
